Product description
Remove the iron contamination that a normal shampoo can leave behind. IGL Ecoclean Iron targets bonded ferrous particles on wheels and compatible paintwork, with a purple reaction that helps you see where it is working.
What it does
Use it for brake-dust deposits and iron fallout before the final protection stage. Its job is chemical decontamination; it does not polish scratches or repair a damaged wheel finish.
Where to use it
Compatible wheel faces and painted exterior panels. Work on a cool surface in shade and test unfamiliar or sensitive finishes first.
How to use it
Shake the bottle, spray the target area and allow a brief dwell of no more than two minutes. Agitate where needed with a suitable soft brush, then rinse thoroughly. Never let the liquid dry on the surface.

The colour change comes from the reaction with iron contamination. It shows chemical activity, not that rinsing is optional.
Can I use it on paint as well as wheels?
Yes, on compatible exterior paint and wheel finishes. Test uncertain finishes, work cool and rinse thoroughly.
Will it remove every kind of contamination?
It targets iron particles. Tar, mineral deposits and scratches are different jobs and may need separate treatment.
How long should it dwell?
Allow a short dwell of no more than two minutes and rinse sooner if the surface begins drying. Work one manageable area at a time.
Does it replace car shampoo?
No. Use shampoo for the normal wash and Iron when bonded ferrous contamination needs a targeted treatment.
